Kimitoön 700 year anniversary cruises to Högsåra
The traditional sailing ship Eugenia takes us on an historical excursion in an old-fashioned way. The sea-breeze fills the sails, and we leave the heavy lifting to the ship’s crew. If you wish, you can familiarise yourself with sailing, help with the work on the ship and learn about the history of traditional sailing in practice. You can just as well focus on resting and enjoying the sea, the passing islands, and the archipelago atmosphere. We will take a guided cruise from Dalsbruk to Högsåra where our guide will lead us through Kimitoön’s 700-year history with a focus on seafaring. It is possible to participate in a walk on Högsåra from the old pilot jetty to Kejsarhamnen, where Eugenia will pick up the cruise passengers for the return trip to Dalsbruk.
